Oh my modified date is 2/20/2010 like you said. Is there a problem with that version? Should the new beta today fix my issue? :)

That means your syslinux module chain.c32 is version 3.86, and like you said your syslinux bootloader is version 4.04. That leads to "cannot read boot sector" error message.

The correct one should be dated to 2011-04-18. Like i said, your up/downgrade messed up your SARDU installation. Please format your stick and start the processing again (beta should work, too).

When does this error comes up? Are you getting into menu screen before?

Im assuming that you get this when entering the PE boot entry in SARDU menu.

Yes SARDU boots then I choose Menu Windows Live and then Boot from Win 7 PE
Then "Loading the boot file..." and "Cannot read boot sector"
I can boot to NT Pass reset just fine.

What builder do you use for building the Win7PE and in what version?
Important information: Don't change the SARDU screen or menu's when you want a fine working SARDU. 8-)

The one we use currently off our USB drives was compiled by someone else but I've also tried a plain copy I made yesterday using the builder that SARDU links to 7PE-SE (i think) the latest version as of yesterday but get the same result :/
