In my test works very fine.

Only with the netbook, first boot appears freezed....but after a reboot...works fine ()

Congratulations, in my case the the constellation of RC3 ("Info" in the program says RC2 (?)), Win7PE SE, USB stick and my notebook has been sovled.
I haven't had the opportunity to test RC4, but I will let it fill an USB stick over night.
With regards to booting from DVD(s) it is only eScan Rescue that crashes during its startup, but it's most likeley that eScan (32 bit?) doesn't like to meet the x64 version of Windows 7.

Thanks, David.

Thanks for the latest RC4; it's been working quite well on one of my pen drives; I will test it on two other hard drives today and see whether the Windows Vista / 7 / 8 booting bug will come back. Thanks!

My results with RC4 and USB stick:

Section "Antivirus":
Tested: Everything works apart from "eScan Rescue". Calling "eScan2 ends in grub. In RC3 "eScan" partly worked. If I create an USB stick just for "eScan" it passes "grub", starts loading Windows components and ends with an error (0xc0000017). I should and will test "eScan" on a DVD this evening.
Not tested: "Acronis Antimalware" and "Ubuntu MRT"

Section "Utility":
Tested: Everything works apart from "Trinity Rescue Kit", it stops somewhere in the middle and complains that it cannot find TRK on CD-ROM, USB-Stick and so on.
Not tested: "Partition Wizard", "Ping", "OpenDiagnostics""

Results for the sections "Linux" and "Windows" will follow in a few hours.

By the way, Kanguru has updated its product line:
https://www.kanguru.com/index.php/flash ... anguru-ss3

Nothing beats an USB stick that has a physical write protection :-)

Thanks, David.

I've run the tests I described above solely on my notebook. From my experience it makes more sense for the final tests to skip evaluating in Vmware or Qemu and use a real computer as too often the ISOs were successful inside an emulator but not on a real computer.

The ISO images of "eScan" and "Trinity" are error-free, I checked their crc values.

As promised I've built a second USB stick with ISOs from the sections "Linux" and "Windows".

Section "Linux":
Tested: Everything, works.

Section "Windows":
Tested: Win7PE SE: The old issue is gone, Windows starts loading but stops after a while displaying:

Windows Boot Manager:

File: \Boot\BCD
Status: 0xc000000f

Right now I'm at work, that means, I will be able to build the USB stick for a second time not before this afternoon/evening.

Thanks.
