Mmmm,
Do you have antivirus or firewall? If Yes try to disable them
Do you have same error with version 2.0.4.3?
Your test with 2 usb in the same PC?
Do you have NTFS enabled? Hide Hard Disk? Blacklist Unit?
Do you have Card Reader?
I can make one test.exe with only "the search" usb function with mesgbog and step to undestand where is the problem

I have Antivirus - Forefront Endpoint Protection Version: 2.0.657.0 (same error when i disable it) , No Firewall .
No , I don't have errors with 2.0.3.4 .
Yes i have few USB flash drives ,but for testing i use : Apacer 4 GB + Unknown brand (i think its Kingston but can't remember ) 2 GB .
I try with default options : NTFS is not enabled , No Hide Hard Disk , No Blacklist Unit
Yes I have a Card Reader and I'm plugging the usb flash in it .

May be an OS problem (i must reinstall it soon but its not my private PC , so i have to wait) , but with the stable version there is no problem (2.0.4.3).
I make all my USB flash drives on this PC and no problems so far. As i mentioned before i have one 16 GB Transcend full of bootable software made with 2.0.4.3 and its working like a charm .

You launch SARDU from C ? or the same unit where yu have windows Installed?
You have USB --> Enable Autodetection USB enabled?

I'm starting SARDU from my desktop (i unziped it there).
Windows detects automaticaly when i plug in my USB flash drive.

I tested the new beta (beta 4 ) and the old one (beta 3) on different computer.
For testing i used laptop Dell Latitude D520 with Windows XP Professional SP3 ,
another usb flash drive - 4 GB Transcend.
On laptop everything works perfectly , beta 3 and beta 4 are doing exactly what they should do.
With this flash drive (transcend 4 GB) i tested on the PC from previous tests and the error is showing up again (beta 3 and beta 4). I think there is something OS related that cause this error to occur . On different computers with the same OS - one works great and another is showing errors(beta 3 and beta 4).
Sorry for losing your time Davidecosta , obvious the problem is in my PC and your great program is working perfectly.

In beta 4 i I put the flags of errors with messagebox
If you don't see msgbox with error 1 etc...is your system
