Great job on updating SARDU with a lot of new features. Almost everything else, excpt the same old problem I'm having since 2.0.4 beta 2/3.

Built & tested in:
real computer [Win 7 x64]
VM [WinXP+no-antivirus]

ISO used:
XP Live
XP Recovery CD
Vista Recovery CD
Win7 Recovery CD
XP Home SP3 [DELL OEM]

problems:
#1 No SARDU menu; disk boots into PE2 [BCD] menu & shows Windows Vista/7 as boot options
#2 SARDU still & sets the language to Italian in antivirus.cfg for KASPERSKY; it should be ENGLISH

1) NO! I used 2.0.4 beta 11 [but this problem has been going on since beta 1 & is present in all the 2.0.4 beta releases]
2) Where did I mention that I'm using a MODDED CD? Its an original XP SP3 CD from DELL.

DELL, HP, SONY are called OEM's. OEM == Original Equipment Manufacturer == produttore di apparecchiature originali

This XP CD is original & similar to Microsoft CD; no modification was done to CD or ISO!

I have tried with clean USB drive & every beta version of 2.0.4 & it has failed every single time.

format the usb and install one iso at time
Test if SARDU works fine
This is for find the error. If you don't make this i can't help you. I don't have you copy of ISO.

Hi, I am so happy to see progress in development is fast !
Ofcourse I am aware priorities have to be decided upon, so don't worry, I can understand only you can see the full picture.

SARDU 2.0.4 beta 11 findings:

-1- Improved Dutch GUI translation works as expected When you are ready for further translation work let me know.
-2- Defragmenting USB: Doesn't do anything here. No error report either. My opinion here is that usb flash drives should never be defragmented. Reason behind this thought is that flash drives' lifespan will be reduced by defragging, and the benefits are too small to weigh out against the reduced lifespan. Yes, some people have reported some improvements in speed, but only lightly. I like to suggest to remove the defragging option all together.
-3- Auto shutdown: Says it can allow you to enable to let SARDU shutdown your PC after the ISO downloads are done. I would prefer you could enable SARDU to shutdown the PC after all downloaded ISO's have been installed and the USB menu has been updated.
-4- Open log USB: I am very happy with this feature. In the future I hope for further feature improvements to it, like listing the full application names, not just the file names.
-5- Update USB: didn't work anymore in beta 9 - In beta 11 the feature works again !

Future feature request:

-1- A check disk utility (chkdsk) to check integrity of the file system on the usb flashdrive. I do not use my on-board Windows chkdsk.exe on my SARDU installation usb flashdrive for fear that incompatibility issues could rather do damage then help when facing problems.

User that use extra with GRUB and iso mapping can have problems if the iso is non-contiguous. in this case it's recommended defragmentation.
In beta 12, i'm going to release this in a few hours, i changed the gif of defrag replacing it with the gif for start download

If the autoshutdown works fine i can add this option to Make USB etc.

I don't have feedback, NO ONE. I release this new version, if a haven't feedback...beta 12 will be 2.0.4 final

I think SARDU is mistakenly/improperly setting language to Italian [lang/lng=it] in linux.cfg & antivirus.cfg instead of English [lang/lng=en]!

You build one USB from scretch? I thoink no. I fix the error of kaspersky several months ago

It the language is unsupported SARDU puts english....but...obkly for new version. If you have old version with italian...
