i mean, just like usee in this image

Image

when hirens is finally detected, SARDU wont find my USB even when i click on SEARCH...

actually, the whole SARDU application is alted...

i cant even click on DONATE or anything,,,

i have to end task using task manager if i want to quit SARDU....

this only happens when HIRENS ISO is in ISO folder,,,

like i said,

if i rename my HIREN ISO to lets say PING.ISO

then, i relaunch SARDU

now SARDU picks up PING.ISO and when i click search USB, SARDU finds my USB E: no problem,,

the moment i rename PING.ISO to HIRENS.ISO or even Hiren_s.BootCD.15.1.iso.

SARDU cant find my USB E: and Hirens isnt detected...

wow,,, thats crazy o.O

i disabled all security and still the same,,,

now, i tried running SARDU from my D drive,,, not from my C drive,,,

is it normal that SARDU, when launched from my D drive, creates a SARDU FOLDER on my C desktop???

and in that folder created on desktop, if i go in it, i see only a ISO folder....

when hirens ISO is in ISO folder,,, nothing works,,

like i said, DONATE button doesnt launch my net browser, SARDU dont want to close...

but when i rename or remove HIRENS from ISO folder, all works and goes back to normal,,,

there's definitely a BUG in SARDU. a rare one, but there's one,,,
Here's what i have to do to make SARDU v2.0.4.3 work on my Windows7 x64 Ultimate PC...

#1- put hiren.iso in ISO Folder
#2- launch sardu_x64.exe
#3- sardu wont work right, donate button wont work, wont detect my hiren.iso and USB drive and more...
#4- leave sardu open, but launch sardu.exe
#5- say ok when sardu says there's already open
#6- as magical as it sounds, sardu will start to work and detect everything correctly

so yeah, thats really weird, and i now used my method to force SARDU to work
and i now have a working bootable USB rescue drive!

This BUG should be haunted down and fixed though,,,

and by the way, old version of SARDU, v2023,
works all the time without a single issue..

its just that i needed the new version for hirens bootCD in it,,,

so it seems a bug with the new v2024 + 64bit systems,,,
