OK. Everything works perfect. Only one problem makes me feel uncomfortable - when working with Russian install of Windows XP - before the window "choose drive to insall your windows" appears - there is a problem with viewing cyrillic words.

If anyone knows how to fix it - I'd be grateful.

This is the problem as I see it - There should be russian cyrillic words, not crazy symbols:


After this window and afterwards - everything OK.

Davide, what do you think? I really need this matter solved. So the question remains - can this be fixed? Do you need to add to SARDU something to view Russian cyrillic correctly....? Or maybe I can add something into SARDU ISO using UltraISO to fix this problem...?

I cannot do tests. If you can tell me what you did with UltraISO and I add it to SARDU

So: Russian Windows XP uses the file BOOTFONT.BIN in the main directory (see screenshot)



This file is used to view UNICODE (our cyrillic font) correctly. This file is in my Windows XP Installation ISO. But it seems that SARDU is not using it... As if the file isn't there.

The result is:
1) When I boot my Windows XP ISO - everything is OK with viewing UNICODE
2) When I add my Windows XP ISO with SARDU - I have this problem.

So, I repeat - SARDU "ignores" BOOTFONT.BIN ...

I can copy the file BOOTFONT.BIN in the root. Do you try if works fine "editing" your iso with ultraiso?

I added BOOTFONT.BIN to the main directory of SARDU ISO - did not help.

I THINK the problem is because SARDU modifies SETUPLDR.BIN - that is why Windows XP doesn't see BOOTFONT.BIN. - but this is just a theory...

If I change the file - I get error, even if I return the original... I'll experiment for a while....
