Win7 32bit & 64bit

Postby nobodyin » September 11th, 2011, 12:36 am

Hello. Sardu is a great program. Can it be modified to look for both 32bit and 64bit Win7 install isos?
InstallWin7x32*.iso and InstallWin7x64*.iso. This would be useful to alot of people. Thanks.

What you say is true but an AIO Win7 works perfectly for the 32bit installation but not for 64bit. In 64bit an AIO usually can't perform a recovery or repair. But if you can have Sardu look seperately for either 32bit or 64bit install isos, all the features will be present. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would find this helpful. Thanks for listening.

Windows 7 start from SOURCES\boot.wim that launch SOURCES\install.wim
I can modify the BCD for start from another file or folder but SOURCES\install.wim is hard coded. I can have only one SOURCES\install.wim.

It would be also for me a great help to include in one usb stick win 7 both versions x86 x64 together.
I have now a usb stick which includes win7 x86 , ubuntu, xp pro etc.
If not possible to include it to your next update , can i do it manually??
So , can i replace in the stick the relevant files of x64 and do the installation with x64??
i have a compare tool , so its easy for me to do.

many thanks

you have two chance:

1) use seven 64 or 32 bit ()if you have a SARDU with 32 bit and check the 64 bit uyou overwrite the installer
2) Make manually a All in one
