I don't know what you mean with "/boot/BDC".

No, my menu "Multi PE >2" show directly the error msg "Usage : chain.c32" etc.

Davide,

You might be right, my rescue disks were ok when i create them but some recent tests tell me they may be damaged. I continue to test and confirm this.
What puzzleling is how could they be damaged ?
I'll be back to confirm the source of the problem, thanks for help.

I've been testing around three days with my original Xp recovery CD.iso, it works one time with SARDU 1.0.7.3e :
I got the right content of the XP recovery CD but when i created the USB next time with the same iso the XP recovery Was Wrong at boot.
It was like Sardu as change something ?
Whatever, in my case, impossible now to create The recovery CDs.
Is there a place where Sardu write things in cache on the hard disk it is running on ?

No cache.
Try to change syslinux version (menu USB) and use 3.x

Syslinux 3.x or 4.x don't change anything.

Davide,

The problem is more complex :

With SARDU 2.0.3 When i format a USB Key and try to get the Windows Recovery CD (7/32/64 & Vista/32/64) on it, the recovery CDs names sometimes appear in the menu but they are not valid when i run them.

With SARDU 2.0.0 all Recovery CD's are in the menu and run (execpt for me : rc.iso)

But you may put all those things somewhere on your desk and look at it after your holidays.
