USB boot problem [SOLVED]

Postby beachboy » December 17th, 2011, 4:32 pm

I have created several DVD's with Sardu, and haven't had a problem booting with any of the DVD's. But I tried to use Sardu 2_0_4 on a Memorex 8gig flash drive, and I get this error;
VESAMENU. C32:NOT A COM32R IMAGE.
The drive is formated in FAT32, so not sure what I did wrong. When Sardu completed with the USB copy, there were no errors that I saw. Any help, thanks.

Do You tried last beta?
You use syslinux 3.x or 4.x?
When you have this error? At startup?

No, when I boot, this is the error I get. I will not go any further on the boot. I will try and re format the USB and run Sardu once again to see if the same error comes up. WIll let you know.

Okay, I reformated the USB Flash drive, then used Sardu and everything came up good this time. I choose to reformat the drive because of the error code that came up, so all is good now. Thanks again.
