The problem with manually adding to the menu WIN_7.iso Sardu

Postby kamaleon » April 25th, 2012, 10:33 am

Hi, sorry for my english, I have versions 2.0.43 Sardu.
I put the file into the folder WIN_7.iso || SARDU > ISO > EXTRA > WIN_7.iso
I have a problem with editing extra.cfg file (I used the example http://www.sarducd.it/extra.html), which is located in the same folder:
Code: Select all
#-> EDIT HERE <-
Label WIN_7
Menu Label ^WIN_7
MENU INDENT 1
kernel /extra/WIN_7.iso
eppend initrd=/extra/WIN_7.iso vga=0x314 ramdisk_size=40000 quiet

Then I click in the Sardu on "search USB" and I use the USB update (because I have several running programs in the menu Sardu.
Unfortunately I can not see WIN_7 on the menu, please help.

What is Win_7.iso?
Installer or WinPE? You can build all in the Main of SARDU. Why You use "extra"menu?
Important information: Don't change the SARDU screen or menu's when you want a fine working SARDU. 8-)

This is the installation version.
Is it possible to do it in the menu Sardu without using the "EXTRA"
If yes, please do it.

Thank You.

Yes ...

Test it with unmodified Win7.ISO under SARDU MAin/Windows/Windows Installer/Windows Seven AIO. Dontforget to rename your ISO to InstallWin7.iso.
It works very fine but you must have a unmodified Win7-Version. :!:
