syslinux has stopped working

Postby darkoman » November 21st, 2012, 5:23 pm

SARDU 2.0.6 - 32GB ADATA - it doesn't matter what distros I include in project everytime I get this message : syslinux has stopped working. It doesn't stop the pendrive bootable process. I notice linux distros work without any problem but WINDOWS PE and RECOVERY doesn't work. Everytime while booting a message pop up on my screen saying "c:\boot\barrosu bad command name" and A: prompt.

Sorry for bad explanation. It is as follows :

1. I format FAT32 my PENDRIVE 32GB ADATA in SARDU
2. I choose distros I want to include in project
3. I press button MAKE A USB

Now the process begins with extracting distro files and till that moment everything is ok. After uncompressing it is a phase for writing files to PENDRIVE. This is the moment I come across the message like that : SYSLINUX.EXE ( Syslinux has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.. )

Thanks you for your quick answer.
I've done what you suggested with the same result ( SYSLINUX has stopped working ). Funny thing is the process didn't stop and a message popped up "Finished updating SARDU MENU"
My laptop :
FUJITSU AMILO Pi3540 - Windows 7 32bit - 3 GB RAM, HDD 320GB, ANTIVIRUS : Microsoft Security Essentials

Format your USB using RMprepUSB and rebuild your copy of SARDU
