Hi,

I am trying to put together a multiboot USB memory stick with no success.
It seems that most of the rescue disks are not working with the USB. I have a 64 bit Win7 system and 2 4GB USB memory sticks (Sandisk and OCZ).

Sardu boots up OK but..

- BitDefender starts loading and gets stuck somewhere...the BitDefender logo is blinking on the screen..no errors..but the software will not load;
- Kaspersky AV starts loading and stops with errors: "no media found"..."could not find CD to boot..something else needed"..."could not find the root block device in...";
- Redo Backup starts loading and stops with error: (initramfs) Unable to find a medium containing the live file ssystem;

I created an ISO with BitDefender and Kaspersky and burned it on a CD. IT WORKS OK.

I formatted the USB memory stick as FAT32 with different size settings..no go.
Please advise how I could get the multiboot USB memory stick work.

Wich version you use?
Try last beta

Hello Davide,

I tried with version 2.0.3 and with the last beta version...the same result. According to the log, the USB was created with success in both cases.
Any idea what else I could try?

Try Last beta version
Do you can make a report with all isos and version that you use?
Do You have used the downloader of SARDU that downloads last version tested?

Found error with BitDefender, i'm solving


Solved in next beta

BitDefender, KavRescue, RedoBackup works fine with real PC and notebook
In my test DON'T works fine ONLY with netbook (Atom). I can't make a test with official CD becouse my netbook haven't a cd rom reader
