Problem with boot manager

Postby thecensor » April 26th, 2012, 5:18 am

I createda Sardu USB with version 2.0.4.3. I added Windows 7 AIO.

I booted the USB on the problem computer, I get the main Sardu menu, Then I choose 'Menu Windows live' , then I choose 'Boot from Install Win7', after which I get a black screen with the message:" Windows Boot manager' Windows failed to start. a recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

1. insert you windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2. choose your language seating, the then click "next"
3. click "repair your computer."

if you do not have this dic conterct your system administrator
File: /Boot/BCD
status 0xc000000f

Info: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data."

This happens when I try it on another computer. The 'setup.exe' program runs fine when started directly, but that won't work on the computer that need treating.

Thanks

Important information: Don't change the SARDU screen or menu's when you want a fine working SARDU. 8-)

I don't think my problem is with my AIO. I tried to do the same thing on a working computer and I got the same error, however when I ran setup.exe it ran fine.

Thanks

and i think your Problem is AIO. Make a test with a win7 iso without AIO and work with a unmodified Win7-Version.

I just tried with an unmodified win 7 ISO and I get the same error.
Any other suggestions?

Do you try to build one USB with only the installer of sevem?
You use syslinux 4.x? (menu USB)

You can download different Win7-versions here: ;)

With this links SARDU works in my tests with this Installer of Win7 very fine.

And please answer the questions of Davide.
