Problem making the mulitiboot USB

Postby amidamaru » June 14th, 2012, 1:22 pm

Hello, i am making a multiboot USB 32GB and i did download all the software : Antivirus,Utility, Linux, Windows ( manualy) . I am doing the multiboot step by step, for example :

1st i am making boot USB with Antivirus - ALL OK ( i see menus and software after boot from USB )
2d i update the the USB with the Utilities -ALL OK ( as above )
3d i update the USB with the Linux - ALL OK (as above )
4d i update the USB with the Windows and then the problem start, after i add all the windows software ( recover discs + PE's + Win 7 + Win XP home + Win XP Prof + Win XP Prof 64 bit ) i see in boot menu only 1 Recovery disk, 1 PE, Windows XP 32 bit and Windows XP64 bit. I cant see the Windows +7 and the rest of the software i am trying to installl.
5th i update the USB only with Windows 7 AIO and then when i boot from the USB i get ( Boot Error ) and i start from scratch again.

4 times now ....

My question is ... is it that i can have ONLY 1 Recovery disk in the boot meny and only 1 type Windows Operating System ... , because the problem starts when i am trying to add more than 1 type of those softwares .

As you can see that I can try, and that is the same for everyone, it works well.
Installer of Windows i tested only official ISOs MSDN.
Windows PE i made a copy with bases settings. Now in my test all works fine, when there were problems it was discovered that they were modified versions.
Now my advice is to make a USB with ISO at a time to see if it works well.
Little sample: i'm rewriting the function of Windows pe >2 and Vista and Seven but not works fine in all my pc :(

I see, so now i understand some of the problems ... i do use Windows XP Pro + SATA Drivers instead the Windows XP Home, so maybe because its modified and it does not work, and the Windows 7 is all in one ( Home+ Pro + Ultimate ... ) i will try replacing those two and work on how to cheat the SATA Windows, because its very very usefull to me since every day i have old PC's to format and i do need those SATA drivers to be present in the OS...

As you recommended i will try to do it 1 ISO at a time, i will also try your new BETA with the Test tool, maybe that will spare me some gray hear ...

i tryed today on 4 different laptops and 5 different PC's , on 3 laptops the Flash does say "No Defaulth or UI Configuration found , boot ...., even when i disable all the other boot options. on 1 laptop it did boot. On the PC's, on all the SATA PC's ( 3 of them ) the Flash does not boot at all, and on the other too it boot normally.

Very Very strange, considering that QUEMU is reading the USB and all looks fine....
