Now isolinux is testing NTFS but the question isn't this. That I know GRUB4dos don't support ntfs.
I guess, isolinux-ntfs is still in experiment, don't know when it becomes reality for ntfs support.
The advantage G4D so far I know:
Support vfat, ntfs, extx and cdfs
Bootloader can be installed directly to cd/dvd, internal/external HDD, USB flash drive(never tried on SSD or sdcard).
No need syslinux/isolinux, at least I don't use it at all.
Ntfs doesn't have problem booting over 4Gb limit.
Partition over 130 Gb no problem so far.
I tested on lot of PC's & laptops. The oldest PC I tested is Dell workstation 340 P4 with still rambus memory & usb1.1.
Install PCI-USB2, boot from plop and all work fine.
You can have more 60 ISO, all XP etc in one partition (SARDU)
Yes, that's true. I put also around 75 isos and around 20 IMGs&VHDs all in one of the ntfs partitions.
I have a good reason why I split it into many partitions.
Basically easy to manage/maintain.
I don't need to defrag the HD all the time (save time a lot)
Ntfs partition is necessary (some images are bigger than 4Gb)
Fat32 partition is necessary also (40% of Linux LiveOSs can not boot from ntfs partition)
EXT3 partition is not necessary, just in case only, so far I don't see any full-install Linux system can be portable like win_to_go.
SARDU is a builder that user without knowledge can use
Sardu is really amazing.
I dont have any idea how to make amazing sardu-builder like yours.
That's all I know base on my experience.
Thank you for joining offer.
