Postby frenchy » October 30th, 2011, 3:04 pm

Hello,
First of all, thank you for your wonderful program. It is unique!

The bootable cd with pmagic6.3 fonctinne very well.
But the next version, up to 6.7 no longer works.

I try several changes. cfg file, but no change
the pb come maybe "COM32 linux.c32" ...

tested under XP SP3 virtual machine.

Cordially

sorry for my bad english

I made one iso and tested with Virtualbox with only pmagic 6.7 (Thirst choice in the menu) and works fine.
You can recheck with only omagic 6.7 in real pc or virtualbox?

loading the iso with Sardu is corect to main menu Parted Magic 6.7.
we see:
1. defult
+ Language
2.live def. seting
+ Lang
3.law ram
...

but for each selection, we return to the previous main menu
try in virtual box

hello,
I find the pb, it comes from the file "pmagic_.cfg" generated by Sardu 2.0.3.
I used an older version of "pmagic_.cfg" of pmagic6.3.
I replaced the "pmagic_.cfg" the new version 6.7.
Everything is OK now.
I put the two files, if it can be useful to someone:
6.3version = good

You making one ISO right?
You tried to build the ISO with only PMagic 6.7 without make changes in SARDU?
You tried to boot PMagic 6.7 with the thirst menu of list: Default settings (Runs from RAM) ??

I tried this with virtualbox and works fine. Everyone can make this test?
