noob question

Postby jw23 » December 3rd, 2011, 9:30 am

alright, so here's what i'm trying to do, i'm using the latest version of sardu, and i'm trying to create a utility usb drive that includes windows 7. i have a version of windows 7 that is 48 in 1, basically it's a bunch of OEM versions of Win 7. anyways i follow all the steps using the gui, and it's finding all the correct iso files. I had to rename the windows 7 iso to "InstallWin7.iso" it finds it just fine. i run through the installation process and it completes successfully. When i reboot and boot from the usb drive, everything works except for windows 7. it goes into a dos like screen and has <boot> and then a list of possible entries. but it seems no matter what i type it won't boot. can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong? Thank you in advance

Joel

SARDU use FAT32
the maximum size of a FAT32 file is 4 Gb. Your wim is largest 4 gb? I think yes. You have to split your wim
