Install (setup) isos that manually download

Postby badfeet » December 3rd, 2011, 8:07 am

Hello, Enjoying your product so far! I'm confused on how to add
an iso that sends you to a web page to download it instead of
doing the automatic download. For example, when you click on
CLONEZILLA, it takes you to a web page where you have to get
the iso yourself (as opposed to using wget like most other ones).
After you download it, how do you make SARDU see it so you can
check the box to add it to the final build?

Thanks for your help!

Thank you, that is a much nicer download interface. However, I still have the same problem.
How do I get the program to recognize the downloads that take me to a web page instead of
downloading directly in the program. For example, Clonezilla opens a web page where you
have to download the iso yourself, and Hiren's Boot CD pops open a window that says
"name of iso = *hiren*.iso".

Thanks.

Nevermind... I see now that I was not careful with the naming of the files. OK, but what
about Macrium Reflect? The only download for that I can find is a .exe installer. The link
from clicking on the button in SARDUCD doesn't lead to an .iso.

Thanks!

You have to builds the ISO of Macrium with the exe.
If you brush the checkbox of software: macrium in this case, you see the name of the ISO: Rescue.ISO
