Hardware Detection Tool not working

Postby garylwe » June 25th, 2011, 2:56 pm

Guys, I am running the stable version of 2.0.3. When I run the Tools menu and then Hardware Detection Tool, I get the following error: "could not find ramdisk image: /hdt.isz". When I go to \SARDU_2.0.3\ISO\isolinux\SARDU. I see the file hdt.isz, it's properties say it's 507kb (519,408) dated 2/9/2011. When I read the tools.cfg file, I see the following entry:
#
LABEL HDT
MENU LABEL ^Hardware Detection Tool (HDT)
MENU INDENT 1
KERNEL memdisk
append iso
INITRD /hdt.isz
#

I have created more than one cd and have tried it on multiple (x86) computers. Is there any thing I need to do to get this working? By the way I have tried editing the tools.cfg file to try something different, made it read only, but when I make a new iso file with sardu, it puts the tools.cfg file back to the original.

Thanks in advance,
garylwe
