Error variable Autolt

Postby Sonorobotics » June 13th, 2012, 9:31 pm

I have Loved playing with Sardu!
What a great tool! :cheers:
I have made a very usefull 8Gig USB drive with it.

Only problem is... now out of nowhere I can not get it to work. :oops:

Every time I scan USB it gives an error and closes.
I even downloaded the latest beta and put it in a new folder just to see if that helped.

I am using a dell E6500 laptop.
I get the error everytime I search for USB. It happens with or without USB devices present.
It happens directly after USB devices show up in the device window.
This is what it looks like. Program terminates clicking OK.

What general problem causes this error?

The error happens a few seconds after the [Serch USB] button is pushed.
and just a fraction of a second after found drives show up in the USB window.

If I click on [OK] in the Error box, Sardu terminates.

I did enable Autodetection for a short time. That was NOT GOOD. It would just error on program start every time.
I had to disable in in my windows registry (regedit) to get sardu to open without error.

Sorry to write in English...

THANK YOU!

Open the file \CFG\sardu.ini

change or add this value:

Code: Select all
[Autodetection_USB]
Enabled=No

You have card reader or similar? If you know the unit letter....

Code: Select all
[BlackList]
BlackListed=cdefY
Enabled=Yes

cdefY are my unit hard disk, change with your unit

Make another test: extract the copy of SARDI in one empty folder

Let me know.
