Antivirs Boot CD:s

Postby Woodrow » March 3rd, 2011, 11:04 am

Hi guys!

I have problems with some of the bootcd:s when using them in SARDU, some of them does not work, some work sometimes, some have strange behavior while running them (like interrupted scans).
PCTools does not work, it installs and the the computer reboots.
F-Secure stops in the middle of scans.
Avira could not update in my first SARDU compilation, but in my second compilation it did but then it get problems with the scanning part.
Kaspersky, Panda and G-Data works perfect.

These are the ones I have tested so far but I wanted to give the input in case there is a solution?

Peace

Sorry, I use ISO on a real machine.
From what I can see now when I have tested all "Antivirs" the ones that not work properly except from the ones mentioned before is: eScan who wont update signs.
The only ones I have tested "outside" SARDU enviroment is Kaspersky, G-Data, DRWeb and Avira and they all work perfect.

Did you try them all?

Well, I have no possibility to try it in a virtual environment, maybe you can?
The one thing I do know is that the Avira boot cd work t perfect outside SARDU environment but not inside.
Did you test all antivirs inside SARDU and got them to work?

It seems then Avira works from time to time, do you have a chance to try PCtools inside Sardu? This one did never work for me.

excuse me
This is my error.
For fix the bug of AOSS with iso you can edit the file and change the file \system\isolinux\isolinux.cfg
boot=usb to boot=cdrom
