Another strange problem faced.

Postby aqkhan » November 7th, 2012, 8:31 am

i have created a bootable usb using sardu with win xp, 7 and 8 installer along with many other utilities.
but the problem is that i used a 16 in 1 win8 iso file but it shows me only win 8 pro editions and all others are not there in the list. all version of professional are shown only.
i thought it is a problem with the iso and i tested it with a win8 6 in 1 iso which was earlier tested by me using cmd. i tried that with sardu and again it shows only two professional version editions only.
infact i noticed one more thing that 6 in one iso does not require windows key to install but using sardu it shows me to insert key first and then shows only professional editions again.

could you please explain me why is this happening? is it the problem with the formatting of usb because i had the professional setup in this usb first then i formatted again and made a new usb with 16 in 1 iso. i used windows format tool and also prepusb.

Hello

Please. I can only speek for me and from my experience.
install.wim in not only responsible to the error. The lenght of the total ISO is important. Over 4GB is not really a chance to take a good work in SARDU with the ISO in fat32.
Important information: Don't change the SARDU screen or menu's when you want a fine working SARDU. 8-)

Wait a moment.
Now I restart from scretch.

With SARDU you can build one USB Fat32 with:

  • One installer AIO of Vista
  • One Installer AIO of Seven
  • One installer AIO of Eight (never tested)

Now what is this 16 in 1? If isn't a standard ISO how can I know how this works? I can prepare SARDU to extract all files of standard ISO, i can't know customized ISO.
You can check if SARDU extract all files from your ISO to your USB.
