Suggestion: Hitman

Postby teranus » August 21st, 2013, 4:23 pm

Hi

First of all thank you so much for this great project.
I have a suggestion for the Virusscan Images: Hitman
We use it for these "Police-Viruses" and for quick results.
It is really good, normally boots from USB Sticks but could also start from so called "Kickstart-CDs".
The Stick version would be better, because it could save the AV-Defs then.

Hope this is something that could be served and help a lot of more people.
Kind Regards,
Peter

Hi Davide!

Thanks for creating such a fantastic tool.

Here are the links to HitmanPro's Kickstart/sidekick.

dl.surfright.nl/Sidekick-ISO.rar

It would be great if you added it as it's a great first go at tackling malware/infections. It's fast and if it can identify the rootkit et al it generally is successful in removing it.

Thanks for responding Davide.

I have SARDU 2.0.6.5 available at http://www.sarducd.it/downloads

Where do I download the 3.x versions?

Thanks

Thanks again for responding.

I'm curious if you are willing to add Eset SysRescue to the list.

It's an ISO generated within Nod32/ESS that's windows based built by Nod32 using Windows ADK builder so it's specific to the machine it's installed on for the Windows drivers etc. Basically it's like a BartPE disk.

PS I just looked over your site but didn't find SARDU 3.x anywhere...

We are developing SARDU 3.x

If you rename the Eset PE like a PE managed by SARDU works fine?
