Hello dear wigloba

Oh, sorry I skiped your post  .
Well, the thing is that I have no idea about all this. Before I found SARDU, I actually tried this but I had no real success. There are just no insturctions for ALL my images. (I spend like 10 hours trieng to get my stuff to work with grub only...)

This is a honest answer. :)

Here my questions in more basic english:

Thanks, our englich ist like your's not really the best.

Is SARDU still installing tools I did not select?
If yes: Why?

SARDU is developed from a specialist in many years hard work. SARDU brings a basic configuration with small and excellent administrator tools who works fine for million of people. I see no reason why this should be amended to one person like you.

I remember that SARDU made categories like "Antivirus", "Lixux" and "Utility" (at least 2 month ago)...
Is SARDU still doing that?

Yes. why not? Categories sort the boot software very well. You divide, not your laundry? (Socks, underwear, shirts)

If yes: Why?
Who needs more than 1 Antivirus? Who needs more than 1 Linux?! (I guess 1 of 1000 people.)

SARDU supports wide range of systems. Where is your problem? KAV clears the BKA Tojaner, Antivir is different and other much so useful.
The user has to choose.

Imagine I want: Windows 7, Ubuntu and Avira Antivirus.
Why is SARDU not making it like that:

*Ubuntu
*Avira Antivirus
*Windows 7

Yes, and this is the point. We don't understand your problem.
You must not use sardu. Is is free for all to do what they want.

I am sure that most users would prefere this menu:
*Ubuntu
*Avira Antivirus
*Windows 7

And we are shure, SARDU is perfect.
Our experience shows, that a simple boot loader are not so popular like SARDU. :D

One last question:
Why is there no programm that makes it easier to configure the boot-menu? For people who don't know so much about computers (I guess 99% of all SARDU users).
If there are really 1000s of users and you are too lazy, you could pay a programmer to do that (beause of ads and donations). I'm sure that most users would like that. And I think you would make more money with that.

There are already at least 10 alternative bootloader, which do exactly what you want to have. Grub use exactly what you want. Grub have also a forum for questions.
So my question to you at the beginning this thread. Why you do make not a better work? In sardu lie many years of hardest work. And few people are willing to donate very little money. Donate you Davide Costa $ 100 and not annoy Davide for a very good job for no money.

You understand the arguments in my bad english?
When you want more arguments in german language, write me a pn. I will do for $ 100 do a good grub-training . Also specially for you.
Important information: Don't change the SARDU screen or menu's when you want a fine working SARDU. 8-)

SARDU would create a menu like that:

*Utility <- NOT NEEDED

I see and partly understand your point(s), wigloba.

But take it as it is - and I certainly don't mean that rude-, SARDU targets and supports constellations that contrast with your personal needs.
If you don't want/need a utility that creates multifunctional boot constructs you are better off with other programs.
Most of the users of SARDU like its attempt to include as many boot CDs as possible. That's why I am here and most possibly many others.

Regards.

Of course it might be great to have the possibility to put lot of different tools on your usb flsh drive. But I'm pretty sure that no one wants to be forced to have specific software installed on your drive. That's what I criticize.
And that's why I made the suggestion to have 2 modes when you set up your usb flash drive:
-beginner mode (installes suggested software)
-mode for experienced users (you can choose what software is going to be installed)
maybe another mode:
-install as much software on my usb as possible

You never had specific software forced on your drive. You are looking at a placeholder with no items in it. Try it, it will be empty and allow you to return to the main boot selection again.

Take a look at Xboot. It has its own problems, but it will allow you to rename the boot menu as you like.
