Windows 8.1?

Postby jb0nez » May 26th, 2014, 1:05 am

Does Sardu support Windows 8.1 ISO? I have legitimate 8.1 install media, made an ISO which works fine with Microsoft's USB creator. I'd like to add it to my Sardu multiboot. I named it "InstallWin8.iso" and put it in my ISO folder. But I cannot check the box next to it! I also tried adding it as an extra, and either I didn't know what parameters to put, or it would add it (as shown in the size box) but it wouldn't actually put it on the USB.

Yes of course. Same ISO folder as all my other ISOs. They all work fine.

I just can't check Windows Eight. I can check and uncheck any other ISOs I have.

After deleting and putting the SAME iso file back in the ISO directory, I can now check Windows Eight. However SARDU can't process the ISO - when it gets to it, the report says:

I made a new ISO, using Winmount. Didn't know it could do that. Anyway the size is different by a few hundred bytes - and at this very moment SARDU is processing the files!
I don't know what or what...but maybe this will now work....if anyone is paying attention...

Didn't work. Processed the ISO, but it's not on the boot menu.
