I noticed that I have to allow a connection with http://installmonetizer.com first. Fair enough, at least on the surface. But the software used does not really monitize. Or do viruscompanies pay per download. Not much payable software used in there. Does Windows pay per link using their software. I somewhat doubt. But then.
After that it gets more murky: http://Fastangleastgo.com is not as easy to pinpoint. According to my Whois ip search domain, it has some type of amazon angle. No real interest to dig through the contradictory Google links. And GoDaddy of course makes matters not more easy if you want to know, who wants to install what routines on my brandnew laptop. But see for yourself, there is something I didn't know before. There are domains that are created, updated and expire on the same date? Are there websites for a day. Or is it shifted after creation to some type of sponsor? Who knows. GoDaddy Link: http://who.godaddy.com/whoisstd.aspx?domain=fastangleastgo.com&prog_id=GoDaddy&k=N57PV7nYfR%2fr2iZyM5jK6F6fiKgEn04G8ufwU3MZRuQBLmR8DNoKWf4n2hIQzyuoNiSpGbBX0Qs%3d. ... Food for thought.
Now if my router firewall would not have constantly bothered me by asking if I wanted to allow these two domains and apparently was not finished. Something I usually pay not much attention to if I install a known tool. A
Additionally Malwarebytes popped up and told me it put series of browser hijack suspects into "exile", what other domains would I hae needed to allow? hadn't this effectively stopped the process? And what exactly are these routines doing on my system?
Now strictly, I would like to give you the benefit of doubt. Otherwise I wouldn't have installed it twice, or actually three times by now. But I also would like to know what exactly caused the really vivious browser hijacks both on my old HP Pavillon and lately also on this new Asus.
I can understand you are trying to monetize a really interesting tool or get something for the work. On the other hand I am wondering if you wouldn't like to offer a clean version without these invisible strings attached. Or would, let's say 25 to 50€ not be enough for it, and you get more the other way? I really would prefer to know what I install on my machine after these two recent experiences.
Strictly, I thought my troubles were caused by some tools I used. Tools to make files bootable or turn them into iso files. And there surely are other suspects out there. But could do you know and would you be so kind to explain what the tools installed with Sardu are good for? Are they needed for the routines? Harmless, nothing to do with browser hijacks???
