Unsupported NIC Card

What do you do when the Antivirus that you boot into with the SARDU disc doesn't support the NIC installed in the system and prevents you from updating the virus signature database? I recently had this issue on a Sony Vaio and was wondering what was my best course of action since I didn't see a way to manually load drivers. Hoping one of you may be able to advise me on the proper course of action. Thanks.

The problem is of the single antivirus that don't recognize the ethernet.
SARDU make onlyu the boot...
