OS Installation Problem, Win 7/8/10 via Sardu 3.1

Postby farhan76242 » December 24th, 2016, 12:38 pm

Hi, am having problems with Sardu 3.1 " I manage to load different OS in my 32GB
USB stick, now I can only boot to the last one, meaning if I loaded for
instance:
1. Win 7 Ultimate
2. Win 7 Pro
3. Win 8
4. Win 10
When
I select for instance Win 10 or 8, the installation fails with the
message "A required CD/DVD driver device driver is missing ...", but
choosing the last one in the list (Win 7) in this case, the
installation is successful.
Pleas ehelp me How can I solve t

Are you a Pro User?
Multiple installars are available only for Pro users, for install 4 Windows you need the Pro Tech license.

After getting my Sardu Linux USB all setup and working how I like, I am now trying to get my Sardu Windows USB setup. And, I'm having bear problems (with the above being one of them)!

Is it my Pro Basic Licence that is the problem? What are the Windows limitations on Pro basic?

Ps. I hope this thread isn't too old to post on :-s

Ok, half of the problem was me trying to test in a VM (VMWare) that requires plop to boot the USB in legacy mode. This causes the above problem (my bad). I have resolved it by testing on a legacy-BIOS laptop instead.

Another part of the problem was some of my ISO’s are indeed over 4GB. However, this does not present a problem for my Win7 iso which is 5.57GB and works just fine. But it does give me problems for my Win10 iso which is >6GB, but more importantly, contains both 64 & 32-bit installers (unlike my Win7 iso). THIS, I believe, is the problem.

I need to install Windows 10 64-bit AND Windows 10 32-bit as 2 separate installers (which I have separate iso’s <4GB for). Please tell me how I can do this with just 1 Win10 option in Sardu?

In the Windows TAB: If you select focus on a version of windows, press the Add Button you can add the windows that you want.
The limit is the number of Windows that your license can support

Understood. I renamed 'Installer 10' to 'Installer 10 64-bit', then highlighted/focused on the new name & clicked 'Add'... I get an error box: 'Access violation. Press OK to ignore and risk data corruption. Press Cancel to kill the program.'. Nothing occurs when I push 'OK'. Sardu shuts-down if I choose 'Cancel'. Highlighting another OS makes no difference.

I run Sardu on Win10 64-bit Pro from C:/Sardu_322. AV status has no effect. Any suggestions?
