it's been there since version beta 8, and already reported, but it does not seem it can be fixed, or maybe it's not a priority :(

I have a problem starting SARDU, getting error: 11-04-2015:00:03:26 - SARDU_1 not found in C:\Users\Cato-Andrè\Desktop\sardu_3\SARDU_1
The SARDU_1 is THERE but program does NOT find it anyway

On Windows 8.1 (x64), I'm getting an error message:

Code: Select all
In 'stream:' (line 1 pos 1): Root element is missing.

Press OK to ignore and risk data corruption.
Press Cancel to kill program.

If OK is pressed, SARDU interface opens but every ISO category is empty. At any action taken, the same error message occurs.

Greetings,

This issue has something to do with Linux Mint distrobution. The same installer error occurs when a bootable iso is created with MultiCD (multicd.tuxfamily.org) as well. The installer doesn't crash if you use Ubuntu. We would have to inform the Linux Mint team via their forums of this issue. So the issue is not with Sardu as it occurs with other multi-boot creators. I hope this information is helpful.

Regards,

Greetings,

The Esset SysRescue CD produces an error during bootup after an ISO is created with Sardu 3 Beta 10. I hope you can correct this with the next release. Thank you for this great utility.

There is a bug in beta 10 that does not output "extra" info correctly... See below:

USB output:
Code: Select all
#boot di kernel /boot/grub/grub.exe
label Boot from kernel /boot/grub/grub.exe
menu label Boot from ^kernel /boot/grub/grub.exe
MENU INDENT 1
    --config-file="find --set-root  --ignore-floppies /Extra/AcronisBootableMedia.iso ; map --heads=0 --sectors-per-track=0 /Extra/AcronisBootableMedia.iso (hd32); map --hook; chainloader (hd32)
TEXT HELP
        acronis recovery utility
ENDTEXT

LABEL IS INCORRECT

I cannot post ISO output, because SPAM filter on this board is blocking [[CODE]] tag with corrections
