The utilities "MSSS_Media32" and "MSSS_Media64" do not appear in the SARDU boot menu. They are present in the hard disk "ISO" folder and are recognised in SARDU as installed.

On the Flash Drive the antivirus utilities have their own folders in which their extracted files are present.
This is not so for "MSSS_Media32" and "MSSS_Media64". It is the ISO file for each of these, that has been copied to the Flash Drive by SARDU, and there is no folder for them.

I have tried in SARDU to uninstall these two items from the Flash Drive and then tried to reinstall them in SARDU to the Flash Drive, by doing "Update USB". I have also tried "Update only SARDU's Menu".

I would appreciate a solution to this issue, so that I can install "MSSS_Media32" and "MSSS_Media64" successfully to the SARDU boot menu.

Hello,

During the SARDU install to the USB Flash Drive, when SARDU gets to the "MSSS_Media32" and "MSSS_Media64" utilities, it then asks if you want to download definition updates.
It does not interrupt for asking this question for any of the other selected utilities.

It makes no difference if you click "Yes" and then wait for it to do this, or if you click "No".
The result unfortunately is the same, as explained in my first message.

Here is the relevant extract from the SARDU log, in case it may assist. There are no references in the log to these two utiliites other than what is shown below:

Hello,

This has been resolved, because I can now see these two utilities when I boot to SARDU.

It is possible that I did not realize they were there because they were at the end of the list that was not visible on the screen, except by moving down to the end of the list. There is a rectangular box at the top right of the screen, but it is not really well recognizable as a scroll bar for indicating that there are more items off-screen, and also there is no mouse function.

However, before discovering that I could move down the list with the keyboard down-arrow to reveal more items, I had also first downloaded replacement files for these two utilities and made a replacement ISO file for each of them, and had
re-created the SARDU USB Flash Drive.
Therefore it is possible that the two items were not in the list previously.

MSSS_Media32 is no more supportet from MS. MSSS_Media32 is dead.
It makes no more sense for SARDU.

MS has another antivirus tools instead of MSSS. It is WDO_Media32.iso (228 161 536 B) or WDO_Media64.iso (256 172 032 B). (Downloadable via mssstool32.exe (mssstool64.exe, cca 700 kB).
Than rename WDO_Media32.iso to MSSS_Media32.iso and use it without problem in SARDU.
32 bit version works, 64 bit version I havent tried yet, but I think it would work too.
