ISOs not natively supported but manageable by Extra mode

FYI that I have gotten the following to work by adding to the cfg manually:

- Konboot
- Spinrite
- HD Clone

I would be happy to share the settings I use if anyone is interested.

GlacialMan has kindly asked me to post what settings I have used in SARDU for these utilities and I want to help this thread as well as the understanding of how to use SARDU so I'm happy to help.

Here is what I have used which works great for me for these utils:

Code: Select all
# boot KonBoot
label Boot from KonBoot
Menu label Boot from ^KonBoot
   MENU INDENT 1
   LINUX /boot/grub.exe
   APPEND --config-file="find --set-root /ISO_EXTRA/konboot.lst;configfile /ISO_EXTRA/konboot.lst"
#
# SPINRITE
label SpinRite
menu label ^SpinRite 6.0
   MENU INDENT 1
   KERNEL memdisk
   append initrd=/ISO_EXTRA/spinrite.img
#
# HDClone PRO
label HDClone 4.0.4 PRO
menu label Run HD^Clone 4.0.4 PRO
   MENU INDENT 1
   kernel memdisk
   append initrd=/ISO_EXTRA/hdclone_404PRO.img

I hope this adds to the knowledgebase of utils that can be run from SARDU.

Looking forward to more submissions from others as new useful live boot environments are discovered!
