Fedora boot issue

Postby adambot » August 13th, 2013, 1:22 am

Greetings,

I get the following error when i try to boot fedora off my sardu usb. I used sardu to automatically download the fedora iso.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/hs63l64knrj30p9/2013-08-12%2019.05.45.jpg

Just in case the image goes away, the error was could not boot because the iso could not be found

any alpha's or beta's that you might be able to release (or tips how to fix the issue myself until the new version comes out?)

Thanks!

The fix (in case anyone else is having this issue) is to replace all references to
Code: Select all
root=live:CDLABEL=whatever.is
in /LiveOS/Fedora.cfg to the volume label of the USB drive (in my case SARDU) so the line in the end is:

Code: Select all
  append initrd=/LiveOS/initrd0.img root=live:CDLABEL=SARDU rootfstype=auto ro rd.live.image quiet  rhgb rd.luks=0 rd.md=0 rd.dm=0
