Disabling the "Barrosu" function

Postby indigital » August 14th, 2012, 7:41 pm

Has anyone successfully created an USB stick with the "Disable Barrosu Function" (from the "USB" menu)?

I'm bound to disable Barrosu as I'm working with write-protected USB sticks only, a circumstance the barrosu function (the standard setting) that has come with 2.0.5 doesn't like.
The Barrosu function wants to write pieces of information to the USB stick during the startup and freezes on a protected USB stick.

I know that a good bunch of ppl cannot or don't want to follow my worrying but to me it's absolutely careless to use a writable medium in infected environments.

Hello :D

- You have take a klick of (fix old Barrosu........)

In my only one test of the new SARDU version Barrosu function works fine with only one installer. In my tests Win7Installer runs fine.
(Note: you can not handle more then one multiple installer.)
Important information: Don't change the SARDU screen or menu's when you want a fine working SARDU. 8-)

I'm still lacking success with my try to disable Barrosu ...

No matter what I tried.

Barrosu demands a non-write-protected USB stick, that's what I clearly can reproduce.
