Cannot boot to Windows disks.

Postby theQman121 » August 3rd, 2013, 8:56 am

I recently used SARDU to create a USB to store Installations for Windows 7, 8, and two linux distros. The process of creating the USB seems to have worked fine, and I can boot into the Linux distros just fine. When I try to boot the windows disks, though, I get stuck at a screen that says this:

Code: Select all
begin pxe scan...               Initialize variable space...
Starting cmain() ... (fd0)
Launching GRUB...
Load segment: 0x0       System Type: 0x0           Sector Cound: 0x1
Load RBA: 0x20   Boot Type: 2 = 1.44M floppy

floppies_orig=1, harddrives_orig=1, floppies_curr=2, harddrives_curr=1
FreeDOS

I thought I used the correct windows ISOs, but it never moves past this point. Does anyone know what causes this?

Make one easy test:

Try to build one USB with only the installer of Windows.
If not works fine the problem is due to GRUB, try to use old GRUB (menu USB)
