I am new around here, and this is my first post.
First, thanks a lot for SARDU, davidecosta! SARDU is almost the perfect solution to my USB multiboot needs. Almost...
I have been faced with this problem that after a few times of booting the Windows recovery/AIO from my USB, the next time I boot from my USB, it keeps skipping the SARDU menu and goes directly into the PE (Windows Boot) menu that lists only the Windows bootables. It looks like somehow the Windows boot menu got priority over SARDU's, when it should be the other way around. Because of this, I am unable to boot into the main SARDU menu or any of the other Linux installations on my USB.
Previously, if I remember correctly, I can just do the "USB->Update only SARDU's menu" or "Update USB" commands and my USB will go back to booting the SARDU menu first again. Now it did not make a difference/did not fix the problem.
I even tried an advice from YUMI Multiboot software by renaming the /sources/ folder to /winsources/ and it just makes the windows menu unbootable, but not skipping it. So I wonder if SARDU has a different, but similar, workaround, at least?
I am using SARDU v2.0.4.3. This problem exists when I plug in my USB into all laptops and VirtualBoxes I tried.
This the installed choices on my USB:
- Antivirus: Avira AntiVir Rescue System
- Utility: Ultimate Boot CD (UBCD) 5
- Windows:
- XP Home SP2
- XP Professional SP3
- XP Recovery Console
- Menu PE >2:
- Seven All-in-one SP1 (+32-bit Recovery)
- Seven 64-bit Recovery
- Vista 32-bit Recovery
- Vista 64-bit Recovery
Thanks in advance!
