used sardu 2.0.2 beta 6
created a multiple boot usb
with windows xp sp3 corporate, live ubuntu, acronis.etc
all worked fine apart from windows xp sp3.

i have tried live ubuntu, works flawlessly same, to trinity, acronis.etc
but when i tried the windows xp sp3, it boots fine (in the blue screen windows installer) it loads all the installation but by the time it finishes loading all the files it needs to im left with the black screen, usb stops reading. I never got to the screen where i meant to choose which partition im installing or formating.
This was tested on my asus ul30a.

the windows xp sp3 iso is completely fine. tried it on vmware workstation.
also tried creating a multiple boot iso, and tested on vmware workstation and windows xp sp3, it worked fine.

therefore i can conclude that only problem is the usb.
i have multiple usbs, i have only two usbs that is bootable to linux, and the rest doesnt work.
the two usbs that work came with the same result when testing windows xp.
the usbs- kingston data traveler 2.0 and an lg usb stick.

conclusion: windows xp sp3 on sardu on usb doesnt work.

I think that you could have spent 2 minutes just to see that you were working with an obsolete beta...
"conclusion" : i cannot see the meaning of your post...

You're talking about a Beta release, more or less two months old, and that has already been updated 4 or 5 times till now.
Maybe it's better to try again with last release 2.0.2c before saying "windows xp sp3 on sardu on usb doesnt work" , don't you think ?!?

I not tested corporate version, only Home, Professional and 64.
Your XP are nLited or customized? If yes...sardu don't support customized version

x( thats the problem. it was genuine pro sp2, and it didnt work.
tried your competitor, YUMI, instead of stopping in black screen, it led to blue screen of death XD.

I have a similar problem.

I'm using sardu 2.0.2c and trying to install a volume licensed edition of Windows XP Pro XP2.
Sardu works fine for Clonezilla, Gparted, Ophcrack, Fedora and others, but not windows xp.

When booting the install, it goes through the initial loading of files, but rather than showing the install menu (where you can choose to install xp or enter the recovery console) it blue screens with the error STOP 0x000007B

A little research I've done into the error points to an issues with the installer loosing connectivity with the original media, but I'm not sure...
Any ideas?
