Hi,

I have discovered a problem with SARDU v2.x.. I have tested on both 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 beta 6, and the issue is the same.

I kept getting an ERROR in the log immediately after ISO extraction, and the log showed no details at all. After fooling around a bit, I discovered that the root cause was because I had extracted SARDU tool on my desktop. I then tried to move it to the root of my D drive, and the everything worked OK.

So the tool does seem to have an issue, when located in a directory structure with long folder names (more that 8.3 characters).

Strange this is that version 1.0.7.1 does not have this issue

Here is a copy of my log, where you can see that no details of the error was offered.

ERROR


This error is only with kav rescue? ISO or USB? If ISO maybe I got the error

Issue is the same no matter which AV I select. The problem seems to be because of the long file or folder names, perhaps because of folder structure with spaces in name.

Again the same ISO's worked when using v1.0.7, so this is definately related to the v2.x version.

You tried last version 2.0.2.a?

I have the same error when trying to create ISO.
Only the Error at the end of ISO creation, and no message why.

Version of SARDU and log?

I have downloaded and tried Sardu 2.0.2b
And ISO creation works fine now.
