Sardu 3.1.1 free (not pro) can't create an iso or usb image

I have 2 iso files windows 10 pro, and windows 7 pro.
I know for a fact the iso's work fine because I can make 2 usb flash drives and boot and install with them.

I am trying to combine the two onto 1 single 16gb flash drive insted of wasteing space using to 16gb flash drives.

I am under the understanding that until I buy pro I cannot use multiple iso images, so that given I am trying one image instead.

I have tried to create a usb flash and also an iso image of either one, only having 1 image not two.

Both result in giving me an approximate 11.4mb file size and no windows image is made.

The steps I take are as follow:

-Open sardu
-Select the windows tab
-go to either windows 10 or windows seven and select the appropriate file by browsing for the iso file, then selecting it and hitting open at the bottom.
-It then asks me am I sure I want to use said iso, I select yes
-I tick the box witha checkmark at the left side so it will (or should) install that iso file
-It asks me for a name, I just selected the default name .iso

At this point I select either "create sardu iso" or "create sardu USB" and the process starts.
Either way results in creating a file or a usb flash that is as I said above approximately 11.4mb in size, and no windows image installed or made.

This is the message I get:
Tot SARDU ---> 11.15 Mb
Tot Antivirus ---> 0 - 0.00 b
Tot Utilities ---> 0 - 0.00 b
Tot Linux ---> 0 - 0.00 b
Tot Windows ---> 1 - 3.15 Gb

Starting to make SARDU ISO
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installer Seven - PRO users only : Windows Seven InstallWin7.iso
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ISO Built!

C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\sardu_16_02_2017_18_52.iso

Now, when I check the size of the iso file just made, it shows the size as 11.2 MB (11,819,008 bytes)

I have also tried doing it thru "Installer windows" which looks for a installwin*.iso file, and cannot find anything to use in the iso directory.

So all this being said, what am I doing wrong?

Could someone possibly give me a more in depth tutorial?

I want to buy pro, but not until I can get a single copy working correctly.

I can.

I'm not clear on what you mean by install.wim. I understand what the file is, there are two significant files used during install and boot. Install.wim which is used during and after install, and boot.wim, which is used during boot and setup.

Both of these files are in the ISO image b under a folder called sources.

How exactly do I choose the file referred to as what section do I use, IE: install windows, windows seven, windows 10 etc..?

I tried extracting that file only, but did not work, I also tried extracting the entire ISO to a folder and selecting that sources folder, which also did not work.

Ok scratch that video, I made a full screen video capture of my desktop. The quality is not exactly the best but you can see it better in this link.

I have removed the other video so please delete that post as I could not find a way to edit that post.

This is the video link:

The only windows installer enabled to works is the first: install WIndows
the others windows are ... pro users only and you aren't a pro users.
SARDU free don't have the lines of code for 'pro users only'
:cheers:

Ah ok, very good then. That would explain why it didn't work :)

So I found out why the first one did not work. It was the name of the iso file, I was using the name widnows 7 install.iso. When I renamed the iso file to install7.iso, and bingo it worked like a charm!

So thank you very much for he help I greatly appreciate it.

I'll be ordering the pro version when I get paid in a week.

Very nice, fast and sleek program, I greatly appreciate your efforts and time spent on this program.

You can rename the iso from install...to *.iso and manage all names of ISOs
