Fortunately, Microsoft will sign third-party binaries with their key—or more precisely, with a key that Microsoft uses to sign third-party binaries. (Microsoft uses another key to sign its own binaries, and some devices, such as the Microsoft Surface tablet, lack the third-party Microsoft key.) A payment of $99 to Verisign enables a software distributor to sign as many binaries as desired. Red Hat (Fedora), Novell (SUSE), and Canonical (Ubuntu) are all using this system to enable their boot loaders to run.

Easy2Boot should work if you convert the ISO to a .imgPTN FAT32 image file using the MPI Tool Kit. You cannot UEFI-boot directly from the ISO file.
Copy the .imgPTN file to the E2B USB drive \_ISO\MAINMENU folder and run \MAKE_THIS_DRIVE_CONTIGUOUS.cmd from the USB drive.
Now run \_ISO\SWITCH_E2B.exe and select the .imgPTN file and double-click it to swap in the new partition.
Now connect the E2B USB drive to the Surface 3 and it should boot (if it boots from a normal FAT32 USB drive it should boot from the E2B drive).
E2B does not use a 3rd party bootloader for UEFI booting. Contact me on the E2B website if you need more help.

Hi Davide -- thanks for all of the hard work.
Could you clarify what you mean by the below?
Do you mean the combined 32+64bit install for Windows 10 will only boot EFI if I have the Tech version? Or do you mean Pro OR Tech version?
Also -- would this apply to the combo 32+64bit installers for Windows 7 and/or 8 as well?
