Sardu only works em pay version?? why free regs dont work??

I use the Sardu a few years, however it stopped working after a few updates

Recently downloaded the free version, I registered it opened a few times but now does not work anymore;
gives error and asks to upgrade to the Pro version
It does not work in the free version more? what happened? only paying now?
